At FirstLine by Bon Vivant Safety Eyewear Company, Inc., we stand behind the quality of our eyewear. Whether you purchased Non-Rx or Prescription eyewear, this policy outlines your options for returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.


Non-Rx Eyewear Returns & Warranty

Return Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Non-Rx FirstLine eyewear. With our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee, you may return your eyewear for a refund (excluding shipping fees) within 30 days of placing your order, no questions asked.

Important: This policy does not apply to purchases made through third-party retailers. Please contact the retailer directly for those returns or exchanges.


Craftsmanship Warranty

All standard Non-Rx eyewear comes with a six-month limited Craftsmanship Warranty. If your eyewear has a manufacturing defect or a problem that should not occur with normal use, we will offer a one-time replacement at no cost.

Warranty Highlights:

  • One-time replacement within six months of delivery
  • Proof of purchase and order details required
  • Replacement is limited to styles and colors available at the time
  • Original warranty period does not reset or extend

Exclusions: Damage caused by:

  • Severe abrasive cleaning
  • Chemical exposure
  • Bleach or harsh cleaners
  • Accidents, misuse, or abuse
  • Normal wear and tear

Prescription (Rx) & Readers Returns + Warranty

Rx Exchange Policy

We offer a 100% Worry-Free Rx Guarantee. Your Rx eyewear is custom-made to order, so while refunds are not available, you may request a one-time exchange within 30 days of delivery at no cost. We also provide free return shipping for exchanges.

Rx Craftsmanship Warranty

All Rx eyewear comes with a one-year Rx Craftsmanship Warranty. If your frame has a manufacturing defect or issue that should not occur under normal use, we will provide a one-time frame replacement at no charge.

Important Notes:

Lenses must be returned to be remounted in the new frame

If lenses are lost or damaged, you will be responsible for ordering new lenses

Replacement is limited to styles and colors available at the time

Warranty does not reset or extend

Exclusions: Damage caused by:

Severe abrasive cleaning

Chemical exposure

Bleach or harsh cleaners

Accidents, misuse, or abuse

Normal wear and tear


How to Submit a Warranty or Exchange Claim

For all Non-Rx or Rx warranty/exchange claims, email:

Proof of purchase

Original order information

Description of the issue or reason for return/exchange

Please allow 3–4 weeks for processing. We will cover the cost of shipping repaired or replaced eyewear back to you.

Always package products carefully to avoid shipping damage.

FirstLine is not responsible for damage caused by improper shipping or non-receipt.
