Have you ever had eye surgery and been handed those big black shades to wear—only to find they didn’t really protect you from the harsh glare of the sun? That was my mother’s story. After cataract surgery, she couldn’t even leave the house because the sunlight was just too painful. It broke my heart to see her stuck inside, uncomfortable and frustrated. So, at Bon Vivant, we set out to create a better solution: eye protection that truly works—and looks good, too. The Marin Case reminds us that everyone navigating dry eyes, surgery recovery, or aging vision is not alone. My journey is your journey too—and I’m designing with you in mind.
